One-to-one Exchange

ILLEGEAR One-to-one Exchange

If Product fails within Seven (7) days from the date the item was purchased, Original Purchaser will have to return the Product to ILLEGEAR and ILLEGEAR will pay for mail-in shipping for the returned Product. A new set of identical Product will be shipped to End User within seven (7) days of ILLEGEAR’s receipt of the returned Product. THE FREE SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE TO END USERS IN MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE ONLY. NOTE THAT ILLEGEAR IS ONLY ABLE TO PROVIDE RETURN SHIPPING TO THE END USER FOR THOSE END USERS WITH AN FPO/APO ADDRESS.

For any One-to-one Exchange, a valid proof of Date of Original Retail Purchase is required. A valid proof of Date of Original Retail Purchase is defined as one of the following:

  • A dated sales receipt from an Authorize Reseller. The receipt must show the appropriate Product description, price and ILLEGEAR serial numbers.
  • A dated official e-mail from an Authoried Reseller confirming purchase and shipment of Product. The confirmation e-mail must show the appropriate Product description, price and ILLEGEAR serial numbers.
  • An order number from the illegear.com web site.


Some examples of a non-valid proof of Date of Original Retail Purchase are:

  • A dated sales receipt without appropriate Product description, price or ILLEGEAR serial number.
  • A picture of the actual Product.
  • A Certificate of Authenticity.
  • Receipts from non-authorized resellers.
  • Receipts from any online auction sites, liquidators or clearance houses.
  • A receipt or order number from any vendor other than illegear.com.
  • Cancelled checks.
  • Credit card statements.

  • *ILLEGEAR reserves the right to take any action to protect itself against all forms of suspicious claims, including, without limitation, requiring further verification of identity and details of claimant and qualifying purchases as well as debarment of claim.

    In order to qualify for an One-to-one Exchange, you must contact ILLEGEAR Support Team to obtain a Dead on Arrival (DOA) Number within fourteen (14) days of your receipt of the said Product. The Product must be returned to ILLEGEAR in its original packaging and condition.

    Please note that the DOA number must be noted on the outside of the returned Product’s package. You must also liaise with ILLEGEAR Support Team to arrange shipment pickup from your address.

    In the event that the procedure herein is not followed, ILLEGEAR reserves the right to accept the return of the Product on such terms that it may determine at its sole discretion.

    ILLEGEAR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUIRE REIMBURSEMENT FOR SHIPPING COSTS IF IT IS APPARENT THE PROBLEM IS NOT COVERED BY THIS ONE-TO-ONE EXCHANGE.

    * ANY SOFTWARE PURCHASE BUNDLED WITH ILLEGEAR LAPTOPS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED.
